Monday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday from 12:15 to 2:45 pm
(Thursday would not apply to Third Grade.)
Students can dig more deeply into Charlotte Mason activities such as Artist Studies, Composer Studies, Gardening, Geology, and Nature Studies. The students also read and listen to classic literature.
Four Year Rotation of Curriculum
Year One:
Artists: Renoir, Manet, Cassatt, Cezanne, Van Gogh, Degas, Kless, and Pissarro
Composers: Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Verdi, Brahms, and Tchaikovsky
Year Two:
Artists: Cimabue and Giotto, Limbourg Brothers, Van Eyck, Da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael
Composers/Hymn Writers: Luther, Watts, Dvorak, Shostakovich, and Wesley
Year Three:
Artists: Valazquez, Rembrandt, Audubon, Millet, Fragonard, and Turner
Composers/Hymn Writers: Newton, Haydn, Handel, Mendelssohn, Rachmaninoff, and Williams
Year Four:
Artists: Hopper, O'Keefe, Wood, Picasso, Matisse, Monet, and Gauguin
Composers/Hymn Writers: Ravel, Gershwin, Stravinsky, Crosby, Joplin, Bartok, and Debussy
