Admissions Information

For more information or to schedule a tour, contact our Admissions Coordinator, Cathy Moses, at 770-565-0881 or  You may also click here to submit an online information request.

Before submitting an application and non-refundable application fee to East Cobb Christian School, please take into account the following:

  • East Cobb Christian School operates as a ministry of East Cobb Presbyterian Church to children of Christian parents in the church and community.  We are a covenant school and therefore applicants must be members in good standing of an evangelical, Protestant church.  Please refer to the Statements of Faith for more information on what we believe.
  • Students must be five years old for kindergarten and six years old for first grade by September 1.
  • Although we value all children as image bearers of Christ, we are not equipped to serve students with learning or psychological disabilities.
  • East Cobb Christian School is unable to accommodate international students who require I-20 forms.

Steps to apply:

  1. Schedule a campus tour (not required).
  2. Complete and submit the online application and application fee ($120 for each new application and $25 for each additional application submitted at the same time).
  3. Download and print reference forms found during the online application process: one church, two personal and applicable teacher reference.  These references should be given to the people completing them and returned directly to ECCS.
  4. References are checked.
  5. Parents are required to listen to the audio of our philosophy and read For the Children’s Sake, by Susan Schaeffer Macaulay prior to admittance.  It is recommended that parents read the book Shepherding a Child’s Heart, by Tedd Tripp or attend a video seminar.
  6. If applicable, records of previous schooling and testing are received and reviewed.
  7. An interview is scheduled with the parents and student(s) and members of the School Ministry Team.
  8. Family will be notified by email and phone call of admissions status.
