Laura Muniz Middle School Spanish Laura is thrilled to have the opportunity to teach Spanish, her native language, to the children of ECCS. She feels very comfortable in her current role, having been a school parent for many years. She loves praying with the students, talking with them and encouraging them to use their developing Spanish language skills in conversations in the classroom. In 1988, after receiving a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Santo Domingo, Laura came to the United States from the Dominican Republic . She studied English at Miami-Dade Community College and was both a newspaper and television reporter prior to moving to Marietta in 1991. Laura has been married to Eric for 15 years. All three of their sons have been students at ECCS. |
