Mike Browne

Middle School Math

“Near the end of my undergraduate college career at Wheaton College I realized God had given me a passion to teach.  I had been given a number of opportunities to teach in a church setting working with youth from my church over the past five years, but I was seeking something more, sensing God’s calling to do more in an academic setting that involved my passion to study and learn as well as challenge and minister to His children.  I am looking forward to the privilege to love these students, drive them to live stronger lives for Christ, and enable them to learn in a nurturing, God-fearing environment.  I hope I can come alongside my students and along with them pursue the life that God has in store for all of us!  My prayer for my students and myself is Jeremiah 33:3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.’ I will be constantly praying for them and striving to allow God to do whatever He wishes to through me.”

Mike attended Wheaton College from 2001-2005, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Christian Education and Ministry, bringing alongside that an integrative Biblical and Theological Studies degree.  He attended Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell for 17 years until leaving to help begin another church, Roswell Community Church. Mike has worked with high school and middle school students on a regular basis throughout his college education in internships and as a volunteer and  is enjoying this opportunity immensely.  His greatest passion is to simply minister to his students in a manner fitting of the way Christ loved His disciples, challenging them to aspire to greater things and seek the Lord in all they do.
