Jan Ficarrotta Second Grade "As a child I did not know the Lord. When I became a mother and then a Christian, my heart's desire became to lead my own, and all children, to the Lord as early as possible. Realizing what I had missed in my early years, the Lord prompted me to share a relationship that can be a true lifeline." Jan started teaching at ECCS in the fall of 1997 as the kindergarten aide. From 1998 through 2002, she taught Physical Education. During this time, she also assisted in the 5th grade class for one year and was mentored in 2nd grade for one year. In 2002, she became one of our 2nd grade classroom teachers. Jan attended Texas Christian University in 1974-1976 majoring in PE. She transferred to the University of Florida (after getting married), finishing in 1981 with a degree in PE/ Recreation.
