A scripture that inspires me is Psalm 149:5-6, "Let the godly ones exult in glory; Let them sing for joy on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand." Music training equips the child to better serve and proclaim the praises of our Lord Jesus Christ.

From childhood, Caroline has had a passion for music and singing. Through experience and training, she has learned to sing and to communicate the vocal skills to children, whether gifted or not. Caroline has a passion to see everyone improve his or her vocal skills, because she knows it can be done. She coaches the children to improve their singing and also teaches them basic music theory and rhythm skills and applies their learning to sight singing.

Caroline has been singing chorally since she was in grade school. For eight years she has directed and taught music in the children's music ministry at her church, teaching children from three years old up to sixth grade. This is her fourth year directing the third grade choir. Caroline's church has graciously sent her to several children's music training seminars.

Before having children, Caroline earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and taught four years as a professor of electrical engineering technology at Southern Tech. She then joined BellSouth in the science and technology department and for nine years developed future telecommuni- cations technology. In 2002 she joined the staff of ECCS teaching music in grades K-5.
