Anne Bosley Teacher Mentor "My passion is to help students discover their unique gifts and how to use them for God's kingdom. I desire that my class be a place for sharing thoughts and ideas, God's Word and prayer, our creative abilities and God's wonderful creation in an atmosphere that is loving, open, and fun." Anne realized a desire to teach soon after starting college. She graduated from Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She moved to Cobb County to teach in 1968. After staying home a number of years, she went back to teaching in the public school system of Cobb County. She realized how much the schools had changed and began to feel God's leading to Christian education. In 1991, a friend told her about ECCS and she began teaching there that year. Anne has 22 years of teaching experience and 12 years at ECCS, which she considers her home. Upon her retirement in the spring of 2006, she graciously agreed to return the following fall to serve as a mentor for the current ECCS teachers. This is a huge blessing for everyone! Anne feels that her major assets in teaching are her love of the Lord, recognition of her dependence on Him, and her love of the children. A native of Inverness, Mississippi, Anne grew up on a farm with a large family. She is married to Tom Bosley who is a financial advisor. They have two married sons and four grandchildren who all live in the Atlanta area and a married son who is on the mission field in East Asia. Anne loves gardening, music, and reading. She enjoys spending time with her family and is very involved with her church. |
